DESCRIPTION
BULB:
ovoid, 1.5-3.5 cm in diameter; scales white, ~ovate, 2-3.5 x 1-3 cm.

rundlich, 1.5-3.5 cm im Durchmesser; Schuppen weiss, ~oval, 2-3.5 x 1-3
cm.

papillous,
occasionally tinged purple near base, rooting above bulb.

30-80 cm, papillös, manchmal purpurn überlaufen nahe der Basis,

converging; filaments ~20 mm, glabrous; anthers ~7 mm; pollen
red. Seeds immediate epigeal germination. Flowering time May-July. 2n=24.

tiefrot, mit oder ohne Punkte, breit-lanzettlich, 22-52 x 4-14 mm;
Nektarien papillös auf beiden Flächen. Stamina zusammenneigend;
Filamente ~20 mm, klebrig; Antheren ~7 mm; Pollen rot. Samen sofortige
oberirdische Keimung. Blütezeit
Mai-Juli. 2n=24.
