DESCRIPTION

BULB: globose.

BESCHREIBUNG

Zwiebel: rundlich.

STEM: up to 50 cm, smooth, rooting near base.

Stängel: bis 50 cm, glatt, an der Basis wurzelnd.

LEAVES: scattered, ovate-lanceolate to lanceolate, 70-80 x 16-24 mm, 5-7-veined, axil with a cluster of white, curly hairs, margin minutely papillose.

Blätter: verteilt, oval-lanzettlich bis lanzettlich, 70-80 x 16-24 mm, 5-7 Venen, an der Hauptvene weiss-wollig behaart, Rand leicht papillös.

FLOWERS: usually 4 in a raceme, nodding, campanulate. Tepals pale red, with purple spots adaxially, oblong to oblong-ovate, ~40 x 13 mm, apex minutely papillose. Nectaries not papillose. Stamens converging. Filaments ~20 mm, glabrous. Anthers linear, ~7 mm. Ovary cylindric, ~ 8 x 2 mm. Style ~25 mm; stigma swollen. Flowering time ~June. 2n=24(?).

Blüten: normalerweise 4 in einer Rispe, nickend, glockenförmig. Tepalen blass-rot, mit purpurnen Punkten, länglich bis oval, ~40 x 13 mm, an der Spitze leicht papillös. Nektarien nicht papillös. Stamina zusammenneigend. Filamente ~20 mm, glatt. Antheren linear, ~7mm. Ovar zylindrisch, ~8 x 2 mm. Stylum ~25 mm; Stigma geschwollen. Blütezeit ~Juni. 2n=24(?).
